The Students in Action Fall Leadership Conference is for all high school students interested in becoming more engaged in their communities through meaningful service and enacting effective leadership. Students in Action is a program run through Leadership Toledo, which encourages community involvement as informed and empowered citizens of our region. As an extension of the Jefferson Awards, participants will take part in a nation-wide training in leadership and community engagement.
Guest speakers will be from the Jefferson Awards Foundation, OneMatters, Partners for Clean Streams, Toledo Grows, Food for Thought, Cherry Street Mission, Metroparks Toledo, regional SIA Advisors, and other service organizations from the area.
Please consider bringing either a jar of peanut butter or toiletries for our friends at Food for Thought and Cherry Street Mission.
